The Executive Committee

The Executive Committee is made up of the heads of the research and training areas. It is chaired by the director of the institute. The role of the executive committee is to identify and propose to the institute's management priority themes for each research area and training activities within the framework of the graduate school, as well as to present their results. In addition, it participates with the management in the appraisal and ranking of responses to internal calls for projects.

The Board

Chaired by its Director, the Board meets at least twice a year to review or validate :

• The evolution of the scientific axes of the institute
• The evolution of the institute's training activities
• The Institute's multi-year budget
• The balance sheet of funding awarded in the context of the Institute's internal calls for projects

The Institute Council is composed of two colleges respecting the principle of parity of votes.

Members with a consultative vote :

• The Institute Director
• The project manager
• The Director of the University's Doctoral College
• 1 full representative and 1 alternate representative of students and doctoral students

Members with voting rights :

• College 1 corresponding to the Dean of the Faculty of Science or her representative
• College 2 corresponding to the Directors of Units or their representatives (PIIM, IM2NP, LMA, IUSTI, M2P2, CPT, I2M, LAMES, DICE)

Permanent guests in an advisory capacity :

• The heads of the masters involved (Master of Physics and Master of Instrumentation, Measurement, Metrology)
• A representative of the physics department
• The Assistant Director of Research
• The Deputy Director of Training
• Two representatives of CEA Cadarache (one for IRFM and one for IRESNE)
