1. Introduction
Since the start of the 2014 academic year, CIPE has included two diploma courses in its training offer:
- CESU PédaSup, Certificate of University Higher Education "Pedagogy for Higher Education"
- DESU Pédasup, Diploma of Higher University Studies "Pedagogy for Higher Education"
These two diplomas allow you to acquire academic knowledge in university didactics and pedagogy, and skills: Know how to develop your teaching methods in order to adapt them as well as possible to university teaching situations and the variety of student profiles. The possession of these diplomas will make it possible to enhance one's professional skills in higher education.
2. The CESU PédaSup
This training is intended for teachers or future teachers intending to teach in higher education (PhD students) who wish to acquire professional skills in the field of university pedagogy. Its objective is to enable future teachers to build a first level of reference framework for pedagogical practices by integrating the institutional context, student needs and the principles and methods characteristic of teaching adapted to the university context. This training may be supplemented by the DESU Pedagogy for Higher Education (PédaSup) through a deepening of knowledge in higher education practices.
Terms and conditions :
- Duration: The training can be done over one, two or three years depending on your availability.
- Registration fees (to be paid only once):
- For AMU internal staff (Teachers, PhD students): 50€
- For staff outside AMU: 750€
- Admission requirements: Doctorate (obtained or in progress)

The CESU (with an hourly volume of 80 hours) includes the compulsory training of contractual doctoral students with a teaching mission equivalent to 40 hours.

3. The PedaSup DESU
This training is intended for professionals with university teaching responsibilities (university professors, external contract workers) who wish to develop their skills in the field of university pedagogy and for future teachers intending to teach in higher education (PhD students).
The DESU follows on from the CESU Pédagogie pour l'enseignement supérieur (PédaSup) by proposing a deepening of the concepts addressed in the CESU, particularly with regard to questions of pedagogical innovation and the diversity of student audiences. Its objective is to enable teachers to build a comprehensive repository of pedagogical practices by integrating the institutional context, student needs and the principles and methods characteristic of teaching adapted to the university context.
