Attractiveness & Talent

Attracting the best external talent to the Aix-Marseille site is one of A*Midex's key objectives. Through various programmes, A*Midex is able to offer them a privileged research and teaching environment and thus encourage their incoming mobility and their integration within the research units and teaching and research components of the Aix-Marseille site.

What actions?

The A*Midex Foundation has set up several programs dedicated to attractiveness:

The "Chaires d'Excellence" programme offers a privileged environment of incoming mobility with the opportunity to carry out a research and/or teaching project funded over three years (renewable for two years). In particular, it enables the recruitment of a research/pedagogical team.

The A*Midex Foundation also offers favourable environmental conditions to host ERC project managers on the Aix-Marseille site. This action is not the subject of a specific appeal, but of an investigation of the files as they go along.

The Management des Talents program is dedicated to the attraction and integration of talent, with two main targets: the attraction of external research engineers with rare and sought-after technical skills, and the integration of teacher-researchers and researchers from the Aix-Marseille site who are European Research Council (ERC) laureates.
