Assistance in the development of student initiatives (FSDIE)

Aide aux développements des initiatives étudiantes

1. What is the FSDIE project?

The Fonds de Solidarité et de Développement des Initiatives Étudiantes is used primarily to finance student projects on and off campus.

2. The FSDIE project, what criteria?

Projects may aim to develop a voluntary student initiative, particularly in one or more of the following areas: cultural, sports, social, health and disability, education, citizenship, environmental or humanitarian.. They may also concern the training of students in the various fields of student representation and community life.

The members of the commission shall give priority to projects that:

  • Contribute to improving the image and attractiveness of the university
  • Contribute to the animation of the campus
  • Reach the largest number of students

Excluded from the funding criteria are projects that:

  • Have already been achieved
  • The following are taken into account in the teaching work
  • Only concerns the financing of a trip, evening or gala outside the university context

For more information, consult the internal regulations of the FSDIE Commission and the charter of student associations

3. The FSDIE project, how?

Step 1: Make an appointment with your BVE

It is strongly recommended to contact the BVE to set up your file. The BVE will check that your project is in line with the FSDIE's internal regulations and admissibility criteria, and will advise you on the preparation of your provisional budget and the presentation of your application.

Step 2: Submit your application

The file and all the requested documents must be sent to the BVE digitally, respecting the commission schedule and the deadlines for submission:

  • on Thursday, January 31, 2019 on the Etoile campus. Deadline for applications: 16 January 2019
  • on Thursday 28 February 2019 on the Aix-en-Provence campus. Deadline for applications: 13 February 2019
  • on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at the Saint-Charles site. Deadline for applications: 13 March 2019
  • on Tuesday 30 April 2019 on the Aix-en-Provence campus. Deadline for applications: 15 April 2019
  • Tuesday, May 28, 2019 on the Timone campus. Deadline for applications: 14 May 2019

Step 3: Present your project

You will be invited to support your project in front of the members of the FSDIE commission. After a brief presentation, you will be asked questions. The commission will issue an opinion which will be submitted to the CFVU for validation. The decision will be sent to you by mail.

Step 4: Communicate about your project

The logo of the FSDIE d'Aix-Marseille Université must appear on your communication media.

It is also important to make your project known to the student community. To do this, send your BVE a short announcement with the mention "Thanks to the support of the FSDIE d'Aix-Marseille Université" for the Student Newsletter and the AMU Facebook page.

Step 5: Take stock of your action

A moral and financial report must be sent to your BVE the month following the event. It must be accompanied by all invoices and receipts.
