A*Midex Action "Collaboration Aix-Marseille-IRMC-CRFJ in the Mediterranean - 2020".

Context of the action

Within the framework of a strengthened partnership between Aix-Marseille Université, the French Research Center in Jerusalem (CRFJ) and the Institute for Research on Contemporary Maghreb (IRMC), the A*Midex action "Collaboration Aix-Marseille-IRMC-CRFJ in the Mediterranean - 2020" is open for proposals from November 2020 to January 2021 12pm.
This action aims in particular to encourage and support the development of international - Mediterranean - collaborations at the Aix-Marseille University site, and to contribute to the structuring of existing links with these two UMIFREs.

The 2020 action

• Who can apply ? : Research and academic teams from all institutions in the A*Midex consortium, the CRFJ and the IRMC.
• Main themes: archaeology and uses of archaeology in the contemporary world, religious issues, powers and political governance, changing societies and environmental issues in the Mediterranean.
• Types of projects : Targeted actions are collaborative or mobility projects lasting 18 months maximum, from April 2021 at the earliest.
• Funding : 5,000 to 15,000 euros per project, total budget for the action of 120,000 euros
