On September 19 and 24, Aix-Marseille University is celebrating its cultural reopening!
Committed to "living well together", Aix-Marseille University (AMU) hosts many unifying events, on and off campus, for the benefit of its community and the general public. As a showcase of university know-how and a bearer of common values, cultural dissemination is naturally an important issue for the university.
The teams of the Culture Mission, the Scientific and Technical Culture Unit, IMéRA, the Maison du Théâtre, the Antoine Vitez Theatre, university libraries, components and laboratories, in collaboration with the main regional and national partners, implement the cultural policy of Aix-Marseille University.
AMU has five artistic ensembles, bringing together students and staff, that participate in the cultural activities of the region, for example on Sundays in La Canebière: OSAMU, symphony orchestra, O'Jazz AMU, jazz band, ChorAMU, choir, and DanseAMU, dancers' group. In addition, AMU offers a status of high level student artist, allowing his talents to pursue a deep artistic practice in parallel with his studies.
