PIA3 : 42 M€ for AMU - SFRI/IDéES calls for projects

Yesterday evening, Aix-Marseille University won 42 million euros, allocated to its training and research within the framework of the two national calls for projects, "SFRI" and "IDéES".

With its 2 selected projects " TIGER " and " IdéaL ", AMU is the most financially endowed university among the 19 French laureates (all Idex and Isite universities).

  • The SFRI call for projects ("Structuring training through research in excellence initiatives") aims to enable Idex-labelled universities to strengthen the impact and international attractiveness of their training through research. The AMU project that has been selected is called TIGER and mainly accompanies the creation of Institutes of establishment, already 13 in number
  • The IDéES call for projects ("integration and development of Idex and Isite") aims to support universities with an Idex or Isite label for their transformation, strengthening their international attractiveness and the development of their partnership relations. The AMU project is called IdéaL, to create an "AMU Training School" for administrative and scientific executives from all disciplines and promoting interdisciplinarity.
