The Perception, Representations, Image, Sound, Music, Image laboratory - PRISM (AMU/CNRS/Ministry of Culture) is organizing the 14th edition of the CMMR International Conference in Marseille.

Simone Bonnafous, Provisional Administration of Aix-Marseille University will open the 14th International CMMR Conference, in the presence of :
- Richard Kronland-Martinet, Director of the PRISM laboratory,
- and Professor John Chowning, Professor at Stanford University, Honorary Doctor Honoris Causa Aix-Marseille II and pioneer of computer sound synthesis.
This conference is part of the anniversary of the creation of the PRISM laboratory, and this opening evening will be an opportunity to pay tribute to Jean-Claude Risset, founding member of PRISM and former CNRS research director at the Laboratoire de Mécanique et d'Acoustique de Marseille - LMA (AMU/CNRS/Centrale Marseille), gold medal of the CNRS and Grand Prix National de la Musique.
