Interdisciplinarity, pedagogical innovations, expertise to respond to today's societal issues: 3 virtual round tables to discover the 16 institutes for research and education created as of today, their concrete actions and the strengths they represent for the territory.
This digital event, retransmitted from the Luminy campus, proposes to the stakeholders of the territory and to the university community to discover the singularity of these young institutes and their positioning on the Aix-Marseille site.
3 round tables, introduced by the University President Eric Berton and coordinated by the Vice-President Maryline Crivello : In three times 20 minutes, representatives of the different institutes and their socio-economic partners will give an overview of the key issues around which the institutes are positioning themselves: the challenges of interdisciplinarity, the sharing of expertise, the search for innovation, the attractiveness of university training, links with the territory, the response to societal challenges, and support for decision-makers in times of multiple crises.

Aix-Marseille University's institutes are the result of an interdisciplinary approach based on the university's laboratories, faculties and schools, as well as its socio-economic partners, to strengthen its international outlook. Aware of the central role it plays in its territory, Aix-Marseille University is constantly striving to modernise its practices, for the benefit of all. It is committed to interdisciplinarity and innovation in order to promote the development of the the Aix-Marseille site. As recently created university objects, now 15 in total, the institutes are structured around the international model of the "Graduate school", combining high-level teaching and research.
