January 24th, Women's Sports Day.

Sport Féminin Toujours is a high point of media coverage organized by the Conseil Supérieur de l'Audiovisuel in partnership with the Ministry in charge of Sports and with the support of the Secretariat of State for Equality between Women and Men and the Fight against Discrimination. The 2021 edition focuses on the impact of the health crisis, which particularly affects women's sport. AMU is committed to a strong social policy aimed at improving the quality of life and is keen to offer a better range of sporting activities for students and staff.

This high point of media coverage is intended to encourage the audiovisual media to include more sports broadcasts devoted to women's sports and these actresses. Sport Féminin Toujours 2021 highlights themes related to the development of women's sport, the impact of the health crisis, and sexist and sexual violence. The Minister Delegate for Sports Roxana Maracineanu has undertaken several projects: feminising the federal governing bodies, supporting the visibility of women's sport, encouraging women to practice sport, and guaranteeing respect and integrity for female practitioners in clubs.

A policy to combat violence in sport is necessary. The majority of victims are women. Violence prevention plans must therefore take concrete action against all forms of sexism and promote a safe and respectful environment for women.
The lack of visibility of women's sport, the promotion of women's sports practice and their commitment, the physical and psychological benefits of sport, gender equality, diversity and inclusion are all issues on which AMU students will be able to discuss about the inclusive babyfoots already installed on 12 different campuses*. On 8 March, International Women's Rights Day, four new sites will be equipped, the first of which will be financed by the Vice-Presidency for Gender Equality and the Fight against Discrimination. In 2021, the affixing of QR Codes on all of these tablefoots will make it possible to establish interactions between the latter, the players and the women players.
