Since 2001, the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation has been committed to promoting the place of women in research and technology in France with the Irène Joliot-Curie Prize, with the support of the Academy of Sciences and the Academy of Technologies.
Three prizes are awarded :
. . "Woman Scientist of the Year" (€40,000) ;
. "Young female scientist" (€15,000) ;
. "Woman, Research and Enterprise" (€15,000)
Apply before midnight on 9 September!
On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Prize, our Minister Frédérique Vidal wished to add a " Commitment Prize" (40 000 euros), which will reward a woman scientist committed to the fight against the COVID 19 pandemic.
The theme of this prize will be renewed each year, according to the national news.
