The final Human Brain Project Summit 2023 will take place in Marseille, France, on March 28-31, 2023. Media representatives are invited to join.
The European flagship Human Brain Project (HBP) is nearing its end in September 2023, 10 years after its launch. The final HBP Summit will be an opportunity to showcase the scientific achievements of the project, at the interface of neuroscience and technology, and its legacy to the human brain research community.
Scientific presentations of cutting-edge research
The latest European advances in neuroscience and its medical applications as well as brain-derived technologies will be presented. HBP researchers will present their numerous research results and highly integrative, technology and data-driven brain studies. The summit will include talks, panel discussions, poster presentations, and numerous networking opportunities.
Meet leading scientists at the press conference
In addition to the scientific program, the summit will feature a press conference with a panel of leading BPH researchers. The panelists will discuss the key scientific and technological advances brought by the project and answer questions from journalists.
The press conference will be held in English only. It will be followed by a reception for the media.
Meeting point at :

About the Human Brain Project (HBP)
The Human Brain Project (HBP) is the largest brain research project in Europe and is one of the largest research projects funded by the European Union. It is one of the three flagship projects of the EU. At the interface of neuroscience and information technology, the HBP studies the brain and its diseases using highly advanced methods from computer science, neuroinformatics and artificial intelligence, and stimulates innovation in areas such as brain-inspired computing and neurorobotics. As a lasting contribution to the global scientific community, the HBP has developed EBRAINS, an open European research infrastructure that enables scientists and technology experts to collaborate seamlessly, accelerating progress in the fields of neuroscience, informatics and brain-related medicine.
About EBRAINS
EBRAINS is a digital research infrastructure developed by the Human Brain Project, funded by the European Union to stimulate brain-related research and help convert scientific discoveries into medical and industrial innovations for the benefit of patients and society.
EBRAINS builds on leading-edge neuroscience research, and offers a wide range of databases, atlases, modeling and simulation tools, access to high-performance computing resources, and robotics and neuromorphic computing platforms.
EBRAINS is listed on the ESFRI 2021 roadmap.
