On the occasion of the 2019 European Heritage Days, Aix-Marseille University announces its very varied programme at various sites. From an escape game in university libraries to a concert by the symphony orchestra, to visits to campuses and listed buildings, all audiences can enjoy themselves.
Saturday, September 21:
- Exhibition "Les BU sortir de leur réserve" - Marseille, BU St-Charles, BU Médecine Timone.
- Escape game at the BU " Enter the survey! "Marseille, BU Bernard du Bois: 30-minute sessions between 9:30 a.m. and 12 p.m.; Aix-en-Provence, BU Lettres Fenouillères: 45-minute sessions, start of sessions at 2 p.m., 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.
You have come to the library as part of the European Heritage Days. You missed the last call for public release. The room you are in has just locked automatically. Your last chance to get out: find the walkie-talkie to reach the security staff who can come and open the door. Be careful: it leaves in 30 minutes, so you have little time to contact it! This survey invites all curious people to live an original immersive experience. Your mission? Rely on your observation skills, critical thinking and teamwork. But beware, the clock is ticking... You will have to go fast to complete this challenge! Suspense and adrenaline will be on the agenda! This event is an immersion in the prefiguration investigation of the European Researchers' Night. Sunday, September 22nd:
- Visits to the Aix campus - one 9:30 am and one at 10:30 am - Aix-en-Provence, Aix Quartier des facultés, 3 boulevard Robert Schuman
Two guided and commented tours are offered to discover the new Aix campus, which has been completely renovated as part of the Campus Operation. Modern and welcoming, it combines new buildings and prestigious heritage dedicated to higher education and research in the human and social sciences. This campus in Aix-Marseille university is located in the heart of the city of Aix, which it helps to promote on a French and international level. The guided tours will pass through the Faculty of Arts, Literature, Languages and Humanities, the Faculty of Law and Political Science, the Cube, the BU des Fenouillères, etc. Registration: depil-campus-aix-evenementiel@univ-amu.fr
- Concert of the "OSAMU" symphony orchestra - 6pm - Marseille, Palais Longchamp - As part of the 150th anniversary and the European Heritage Days, the Aix-Marseille University symphony orchestra will perform for an exceptional performance.
- Restitution of video creations at the crossroads of research and artistic practice - Aix-en-Provence, ESAAix (École supérieure d'art d'Aix-en-Provence), 57 Rue Emile Tavan - Videos produced as part of the "Regards traverses" workshop organized in partnership with IMéRA
Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September:
- Visit of the Saporta classified site at the IMPGT - 10am to 6pm - Aix-en-Provence, 21 Rue Gaston de Saporta. The site will be open to the public, a forum of associations will be held in parallel in the courtyards of the Hotel Boyer de Fonscolombe and Maynier d'Oppède.
