The A*Midex Foundation launches its new Call for Projects and Call for Applications for Chairs of Excellence 2021

An objective : To enable exceptional profiles of international standing to be attracted to the Aix-Marseille site on structuring projects contributing to the strategy of the University and its partners.

> An annual call for proposals within the framework of a funding programme endowed with 9 million over 4 years, from 2021 to 2024.

> 2 application procedures : targeted call for projects Two methods of application: targeted call for projects addressed to the research units, components or schools of the Aix-Marseille site OR direct call for applications open to exceptional candidates wishing to join the site

5 chairs of excellence A maximum of 5 chairs of excellence in total, including 1 chair of excellence reserved for people with disabilities

Deadline for submission of projects or applications: 30 September 2021

Submission on a rolling basis for projects and external applicants who have been awarded an ERC

Multi-stage selection process: September 2021 - July 2022

Project start-up: between October 2022 and March 2023
