Each year nearly 20,000 students in the Bouches du Rhône department are made aware of the entrepreneurial spirit via actions such as creativity workshops, conferences, team challenges, master classes, and 45 student-entrepreneurs from AMU accompanied every year by PÉPITE Provence. The class of 2021-2022 shows an increase of more than 40% in the number of student-entrepreneurs, and since January 2022, PÉPITE Provence also accompanies doctoral students and young doctors of AMU.

To ensure this awareness among students and to support project holders until the creation of their company, AMU has developed specific training and support, dedicated to each level of advancement of projects carried by student-entrepreneurs, and relies on the expertise of a network of professionals from the socio-economic world to customize its action; 87 start-ups have thus been created since 2016.
