Inauguration of the inclusive table football

Aix-Marseille University has acquired 8 "inclusive" babyfoots, soon to be installed on university campuses. The system will be inaugurated on Thursday, November 14 at 12:15 p.m., in the Hexagon Hall on the Luminy campus.

In the presence of Simone Bonnafous, Provisional Director of AMU, Marie Masclet de Barbarin, Vice-Chairwoman of the Board of Directors, and Nolwenn Lécuyer, Vice-Chairwoman for Gender Equality and the Fight against Discrimination.

Nicole Abar, former international footballer, AMU graduate and inventor of mixed table football, will speak on the subject of inclusion in and through sport.

This system, which is unique in the landscape of Higher Education and Research, consists in providing students with playful equipment that deconstructs representations and stereotypes and encourages exchanges on gender and diversity.

Inclusive" babyfoots will also be inaugurated at the following sites:

  • Gap University Centre, on 12 November at 13:00;
  • IUT Arles, November 13th at 11:30am;
  • IUT Gaston Berger, Aix-en-Provence campus, November 18 at 12:00 noon;
  • INSPE Saint-Jérôme, Marseille-Etoile campus, November 22nd at 10:30 am;
  • Le Cube, Schuman site, Aix-en-Provence campus, November 25 at 11:00 am;
  • Faculty of Science, Saint-Jérôme site, Marseille-Etoile campus (date to come);
  • Faculty of Science, Saint-Charles site, Marseille-Centre campus (date to come).
